Account & Subscription
From creating an account to setting up a client, check your panel status first, then configure the client. Keep your account credentials and subscription link safe.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your credentials safe, and avoid reusing the same password on other sites. After creating your account, sign in to the user panel to confirm your access, then choose a plan that fits your usage. Signing in to your account and connecting through a client are separate steps: access to the panel does not mean a subscription has been imported into your client. You’ll still need to get your subscription and connect.
Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it?
Sign in to the user panel and check your subscription details in the account overview, then copy or import them into your client as instructed. To update an existing setup, open the subscription or configuration manager in your client, select the VPNHear subscription, and run an update. Then check the route list again. If the update fails, first confirm your subscription status in the panel, then make sure you copied the full address. Your subscription link grants access to your account, so don’t publish it or share it in public forums.
Do I need to pay again to switch or add devices?
There’s no limit on the number of devices that can be connected at the same time, so you don’t need to pay again just to switch or add a device. Sign in to the user panel on the new device, get the client for its platform, and import your subscription. Unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data, so keep an eye on your account’s data balance. When you stop using an old device, delete its subscription configuration. If you hand the device to someone else, clear any saved account details so the subscription isn’t transferred with it.
Which platforms are supported, and where can I get the client?
Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux are supported. Find client downloads in the user panel. Sign in to access your subscription; platform-specific access requirements and instructions are shown in the panel. Choose the client for your device’s operating system, and don’t apply installation files or setup steps from another platform. After installation, find the subscription import option and follow the panel instructions. If you can’t find it, check the setup guides on this site for the right steps.
What should I do if my subscription link may have been exposed or I’ve forgotten my password?
If you think your subscription link has been exposed, sign in to the panel and check whether a subscription reset option is available. If it is, follow the instructions and update any clients you still use. If you can’t find the option, explain the situation in a support ticket. Don’t post the full subscription address publicly. If you’ve forgotten your password, first check your password manager and saved login details, then use the recovery option actually provided on the sign-in page. Accounts that don’t require an email address may not support email recovery, so follow the panel’s process.
Connection & Troubleshooting
Check that your local network is working first, then make sure traffic is being routed through the client. Error messages and steps to reproduce the issue are more useful for troubleshooting than reinstalling repeatedly.
The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?
First, determine whether the issue is with your local network or proxy settings. Disconnect the client temporarily and check whether websites you could normally access still work. If they don’t, troubleshoot your current network first. Once your basic connection is working, reconnect and check that the system proxy or relevant traffic-routing mode is enabled. Make sure no other proxy app is handling traffic at the same time. Change one setting at a time and retry the same page to identify whether the issue is with the route, rules, or local network, rather than losing track while switching several things at once.
Why does my browser work, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?
A working browser doesn’t mean every app is using the same connection path. Some apps don’t follow the system proxy, or may be excluded by per-app rules. Check the client’s current mode and app rules to see whether the app is set to connect directly. Then fully quit the app, reconnect, and open it again. If your client offers a suitable traffic-routing mode, check its settings in the guide for your platform. Keep your original configuration while testing and note what changes; don’t modify rules, routes, and system network settings all at once.
What should I do if a subscription update fails or no routes appear after importing?
First, confirm your subscription status in the user panel. Then copy the full address again, checking that neither end is missing and that it contains no extra spaces or line breaks. Some clients have separate options for importing a subscription link and a configuration file, so choose the one that matches the panel instructions. If it still fails, save the error message, check whether your local network can reach the panel, and retry after your connection is restored. When submitting a support ticket, include your platform, client name, and error details. Hide the full subscription address and any sensitive account information in screenshots.
What should I do if the connection drops when my device sleeps or Android stops the client in the background?
First, check whether the disconnection only happens after the screen locks, the device sleeps, or the network changes. If so, check the system’s background activity and battery restrictions for the client, and allow the necessary background activity in your device settings. Options vary by operating system. After waking the device or switching networks, disconnect and reconnect to check whether the route is back. If the connection also drops while you’re actively using the device, check your local network and route instead of repeatedly changing battery settings. Note what triggers the issue; that’s more useful than simply reporting a disconnection.
What information should I include in a support ticket about connection problems?
Submit a ticket through the user panel and include your device’s operating system, client, selected region, current network environment, when the issue occurs, and the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried. If you can reproduce the issue, describe the steps from opening the client to seeing the error and include the error message. Don’t share your account password or show the full subscription address in screenshots. If the issue only affects a particular website or app, say whether other sites work. This helps distinguish a general connection problem from region or account restrictions on the service you’re trying to access.
Speed & Routes
Choosing an exit region and assessing connection quality are two different things. Keep your test conditions consistent when comparing routes to find the best option for your current network.
Which regions do the routes cover, and how should I choose one?
VPNHear offers routes in 90+ countries, with 210+ routes. First check which region the service you want to use requires, then try a route in that region from your current subscription. A nearby location can be a starting point, but geographic distance alone doesn’t determine performance. Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the United States, and Canada are examples of regions to try; available routes depend on your panel and subscription. For everyday work, keep routes you’ve confirmed work and compare alternatives when needed. Switching exit locations too often can make troubleshooting harder.
How can I troubleshoot slowdowns during peak hours?
Pause downloads, cloud syncing, and other data-heavy tasks on your device, then test again with the same website or video. If your local Wi-Fi is unstable, switch to a more reliable local connection if possible. Then compare other available routes in the same region and see whether loading or playback improves. Don’t change regions and video quality at the same time, or it will be harder to identify the cause. If several regions have similar issues, note when they occur, your network environment, and the service you’re using, then submit a ticket so the connection path can be checked.
Why does video keep buffering when web pages load quickly?
Web pages and video have different connection requirements. A page loading quickly doesn’t mean a video can stream continuously without interruption. Check whether your device is downloading or syncing, review the video app’s quality settings, and see whether other videos buffer too. If only one platform has issues, check whether your account access, content region, and current exit location match. You can test another route while keeping other conditions the same, but a connected status in the client doesn’t guarantee access to every platform, piece of content, or video quality.
ChatGPT won’t open. Will switching routes fix it?
Not necessarily. Connection issues, the service’s regional requirements, account status, browser session, or an outage can all affect access. First check whether other international websites load normally, then review the service’s current official regional requirements. If your basic connection is working, save the error message and try signing out of the old session and reloading, or compare routes that meet the service’s regional requirements. VPNHear provides network connectivity, but it can’t replace eligibility for an account on another platform or guarantee that an external service will accept a particular exit location at any given time.
How is a no-logs policy different from browser history?
VPNHear’s no-logs policy describes the service’s privacy practices. See this site’s privacy policy for its scope; it doesn’t mean your device or the websites you visit retain no information. Browser history, account activity on sites where you’re signed in, and data stored by apps are still handled by the relevant software or platforms. In everyday use, also pay attention to device permissions, account sign-in status, and how you store your subscription link. If you need to send a screenshot or error message for troubleshooting, hide personal information and avoid including details unrelated to the connection issue.

Billing & Refunds
Monthly plans reset data by billing cycle; data packs last until used up. Check your order before paying, and request refunds through a support ticket in the panel.
How much does a monthly plan cost, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the date your plan started, not automatically at the beginning of each calendar month. Choose a plan based on how you actually use it: office work, file transfers, and ongoing video streaming can use very different amounts of data. Check your remaining data and current billing period in the panel. If the details don’t match your expectations, confirm your start date and current subscription first, then submit a support ticket.
What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan?
Data packs: ¥158 for 300GB · ¥358 for 1000GB · ¥658 for 3000GB. They remain valid indefinitely until used up. Monthly plans reset data each month on the date they start. Compare plans based on whether you use the service regularly or occasionally, not just on the price. If you already have a plan and are considering switching or adding another type, check the panel’s information about your current order and subscription first. Don’t assume different plans will automatically stack, combine, or consume data in a particular order. If you’re unsure, submit a support ticket to confirm.
How is the price difference handled when I upgrade a monthly plan partway through?
The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before making a change, check your current plan status in the panel, select the plan you want, and carefully review the amount and subscription details shown on the order page. Don’t convert the difference into extra data yourself. The order details in the panel determine the outcome. If they don’t match your understanding, pause before paying and confirm through a support ticket. Keep relevant order details for reference, but don’t post account information or payment credentials publicly.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan doesn’t appear after payment?
Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. Start payment through the order process in the user panel and check the details on the payment page. If your plan doesn’t appear after payment, first check the order status in your account, then refresh the subscription. Don’t pay again just because the page hasn’t updated. If you still have questions, submit a support ticket with the relevant order details and a screenshot of the payment result, hiding unrelated personal information. Use the order and subscription status in the panel to confirm completion, not the client’s connection icon.
How do I request a refund, and what information do I need?
VPNHear offers a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. Before requesting one, review the refund terms in the Terms of Service. Then sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket describing your request and identifying the order so it can be checked. You can also mention any connection issues, but don’t send your account password or full subscription link. Eligibility and processing updates are subject to the Terms of Service and support ticket response. Follow up in the panel after submitting; disconnecting, uninstalling the client, or stopping use does not count as submitting a refund request.
